Common questions about our farm:
Q: Are pets allowed on the farm?
Yes we are a pet friendly farm. Your furry friend is allowed anywhere you go, as long as they are kept on a leash at all times. We get quite busy in the fall months September – October; if your dog does not handle interactions with crowds or other dogs please leave them at home for the day.
Q: When is the best time to go apple picking in Nova Scotia?
Nova Scotia has an amazing climate for growing apples. At Noggins we plant over 42 varieties of apples , with a U-Pick featuring 15 different varieties. It is best to come in late September early October. This is when all of the apples growing in our U-Pick will be ripe and ready to pick! We look forward to seeing you then.
Q: Do I have to pay admission to pick Apples or Pumpkins?
No, if you are coming for pick your own Apple or Pumpkins you simply pay for what you pick. You are able to purchase U-Pick apple bags in our Red Admissions Building before you head down to the orchard during week and on weekends. On weekends and holiday Monday’s only you are able to buy U-Pick bags in the orchard where the wagons drop you off.
